A high-volume HR Officer from within a shared service environment required for CBD Mining Organisation An opportunity is available for an experienced HR Officer to join a well-established mining organisation based in the Perth CBD.
This role works within a fast-paced HR Shared Services environment and will provide responsive and accurate HR support across a diverse operational workforce.
As part of the wider HR team, you will manage a high volume of employee and leader enquiries through ServiceNow, providing timely advice and transactional HR support across the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing and responding to high-volume HR queries through ServiceNow ticketing
- Providing advice on HR policies, procedures and employment conditions
- Preparing employment contracts, variations, letters and other employee documentation
- Processing employee changes, transfers, promotions and remuneration updates
- Maintaining accurate employee and organisational information
- Updating organisational charts and HR records
- Interpreting and applying relevant industrial instruments, including Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
- Ensuring advice and documentation align with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and relevant workplace legislation
- Supporting HR processes within a structured Shared Services workplace
To be successful in your application, you will be an experienced HR Officer or HR Coordinator with a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related discipline and prior experience working within a fast-paced HR or Shared Services environment. You will be confident managing high-volume HR enquiries, ideally through ServiceNow or a similar system, and possess a practical understanding of industrial instruments, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements. A good working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards is essential, together with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately prepare employment contracts, variations and other HR documentation. Previous experience in mining, resources or similar environment will be highly regarded.
