Direct Point Heating & Cooling is growing, and we’re looking for great people to join our local team.

We have multiple opportunities available depending on your skills and experience, from someone with solid hands-on installation experience through to a qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic ready to take on more responsibility.

OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

- Air Conditioning Trade Assistant / Installer For someone with good hands-on AC installation experience who can confidently assist with ducted, split and multi-split installations.
- Qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic For an experienced tradesperson who can confidently complete and commission quality installations and take ownership of their jobs.
- Senior / Leadership Opportunity For the right applicant with strong experience, job management skills and the ability to lead installations, manage other team members and help maintain a high standard across our AC division.
- **Electrical apprenticeship/dual trade opportunity also available for right applicant.

ABOUT THE WORK A large part of our work is residential ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning, so we're particularly interested in people who know their way around a quality ducted installation.

Depending on your experience, your work may include:





- Complete ducted reverse-cycle installations
- Indoor and outdoor unit installation
- Refrigeration pipework
- Condensate drainage
- Supply and return-air ductwork
- Diffusers, grilles and return-air systems
- Zone motors, dampers and zoning systems
- Controllers and sensors
- Split-system installations
- Multi-head / multi-split installations
- System commissioning and testing
- Fault finding and resolving installation issues

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Your exact qualifications will depend on the position you're applying for, but we're looking for people who:

- Have experience with ducted and/or split-system installations
- Take pride in doing things properly
- Are reliable, motivated and efficient
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Can work well independently and as part of a small team
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate well with customers and other team members
- Take ownership and responsibility for their work
- Bring a positive attitude and great vibe to the team

For our qualified positions, you'll need the appropriate Air Conditioning & Refrigeration trade qualifications and Refrigerant Handling Licence. WHO ARE WE?
