IMMEDIATE HIRING – FEMALE DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS

Revira Care Australia is seeking experienced and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join our team for an immediate opportunity in North Sydney and surrounding areas, NSW.

We are looking for workers who can provide consistent, person-centred support to participants with mental health needs and behaviours of concern.

Location

North Sydney & surrounding areas, NSW

Availability

- 7 days per week
- 6 hours per day
- Consistent availability across the week is highly desirable
- Immediate start

About the Role The successful Support Workers will be responsible for:
- Providing person-centred support to participants with mental health needs and behaviours of concern.
- Supporting community access and daily activities.
- Maintaining skilled boundaries at all times.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with participants.
- Following individual support plans and relevant Behaviour Support Plans.
- Maintaining participant safety, dignity and privacy.
- Completing accurate progress notes and reporting incidents as required.
- Working collaboratively with the participant, family and Revira Care team.
- Providing reliable and consistent coverage across the week.
- Using own vehicle for community access and support as required.

About You We are looking for Female Support Workers who:




- Have demonstrated experience supporting people with mental health needs and behaviours of concern.
- Are reliable, punctual and professional.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Have good knowledge of North Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Have their own reliable transport.
- Are flexible and able to provide consistent coverage across the week.
- Are compassionate, patient and confident in challenging situations.
- Can work independently while following support plans and organisational procedures.

Required Certifications & Checks Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain as applicable:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent qualification – highly desirable/required based on role requirements
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Any additional training required for the participant's specific support needs
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance suitable for community access
