Sydney | Contract | Two Key Projects

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver two important technology projects in parallel for our client. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong project management, stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination skills.

The projects involve

- IT integration of a newly acquired business, bringing systems, technology and processes together with the existing organisation.
- EFTPOS upgrade, coordinating the technology implementation and rollout across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of two concurrent IT projects.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external technology vendors.
- Manage the technology integration of an acquired business.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of an EFTPOS/payment technology upgrade.
- Provide clear project reporting and communication to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies and issues through to resolution.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines and quality expectations.





About You

You will be an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong track record delivering technology projects in complex environments.

Ideally, you will have:

- Proven experience managing multiple IT projects concurrently.
- Experience delivering acquisition, M&A;, business integration or systems integration projects.
- Experience with EFTPOS, payment systems, POS or retail technology upgrades would be highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and technology partners.
- Strong planning, risk, issue and dependency management capabilities.
- The ability to work across both technical and business teams and keep delivery moving.
