Role Description This is a full-time Information Technology Specialist role based in Brisbane City, QLD, The Information Technology Specialist will manage and maintain core IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, and user devices, ensuring secure and reliable operations for PopHub’s online marketplace. Daily responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, implementing security best practices, and supporting system upgrades and integrations. The role also involves providing responsive technical support to internal stakeholders, documenting IT processes, coordinating with vendors,



and contributing to continuous improvement of IT services and security posture.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge and practical experience supporting business-critical systems.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including configuring, monitoring, and maintaining wired and wireless networks.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and supporting compliance with security policies.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, support non-technical users, and manage requests professionally.
- Relevant experience with cloud-based platforms, SaaS tools, and marketplace or e-commerce environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ticketing/ITIL-based support processes, documentation standards, and basic scripting or automation is advantageous.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience and certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA) is preferred.
