We are working with an established specialist insolvency and restructuring firm looking to bring an Insolvency Manager into its Sydney team.
For someone who enjoys the technical challenge of insolvency, developing a team and working closely with clients, there’s plenty to get involved in here.
The firm has a strong presence in the SME market, supported by a national network of expertise and resources. Its culture puts real emphasis on sharing knowledge, open communication and treating people with care through difficult financial situations.
The opportunity
You’ll work closely with a Principal, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of insolvency matters and investigations across different industries.
Your role will include:
- Managing assignments and keeping matters moving through to completion
- Reviewing reports and documentation, with a focus on quality and commercial outcomes
- Supporting and developing junior team members through coaching and day-to-day guidance
- Managing relationships with stakeholders and referral partners
Why consider it?
Alongside the 50/50 split between home and the Sydney CBD office, you’ll have exposure to varied appointments, access to experienced colleagues and support for professional memberships and further study.
The team structure gives managers an active role in developing their people, with a team-oriented approach to solving problems and sharing experience.
About you
You’ll bring a strong insolvency background, sound technical judgement and experience supervising others. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities and communicating clearly with people navigating sensitive situations.
Relevant accounting qualifications and ARITA study will also be valuable.
If you’re an Insolvency Manager considering a move, I’d be happy to talk you through the firm, the team and what the role could offer.
