About the role

We're looking for an Insurance Partnerships Manager to own and grow our insurance and personal-injury portfolio. You'll manage existing relationships across our funder base and open recent ones, positioning GPU as the transport partner of choice for claims teams who need certainty, compliance and visibility. This is a hunter-and-farmer role requiring deep knowledge of the landscape, decision-makers, claims management processes, and the ability to activate relationships from day one.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and grow a national portfolio of insurer, legal and rehab accounts - retention, share of wallet and service expansion
- Identify, pitch and close new partnerships across workers' compensation, CTP, motor accident injury, trauma, serious injury, catastrophic claims, life, TPD, income protection, public liability and general insurance claims segments
- Lead tender and panel responses with commercial and operations support
- Build relationships at claims-manager, rehab-consultant and executive level
- Translate client needs into service design - booking rules, reporting, SLAs, compliance requirements
- Own account planning, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting for the portfolio
- Represent GPU at industry events,



conferences and funder forums

About you

- 5+ years in account management, BD or partnerships within personal injury, workers' comp, CTP, rehab or allied health
- Deep understanding of the claims lifecycle and how transport, treatment and return-to-work intersect
- Existing relationships with insurers, scheme agents, legal firms or rehab providers you can bring to the table
- Track record of growing a portfolio - not just holding it
- Commercial rigour: comfortable with pricing, margins, contracts and reporting
- Strong communicator who can hold a room with a claims team or a GM
- Willingness to travel interstate as required
