The Role An opportunity has become available for an Integration Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide advice to management on GCHHS Integration Platform, maintaining an efficient and secure operational setting
Oversee and lead Information and Communication Technology (ICT) technical implementations within a project management framework
Develop and review implementation plans, change requests, internal and external procurement orders, and other required documents
Investigate and recommend new information management services and technology initiatives to address customer needs
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in an information technology or computer science discipline or a related field is highly desirable.
This position may be required to work across the various facilities throughout the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
This position may incur overtime or extended hours beyond standard business hours at times such as project implementation, peak demand or around other issues that arise
This position may be required to participate in on-call arrangements
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $144,315 - $154,879 per annum
