Investment Business Analyst

Sydney or Brisbane | 3–6 Month Contract | Potential Extension

IQ Group is seeking an experienced Investment Business Analyst to join a key project focused on understanding and improving the end-to-end investment management ecosystem of a major superannuation fund.

This is an opportunity to work across the investment technology and data landscape, with a particular focus on how investment data is held, managed and flows from the Custodian through to the Fund’s internal data and reporting environments .

The Role

You’ll be responsible for looking across the investment ecosystem end-to-end, identifying how systems, data and reporting interact, and helping establish a clear view of the current state and opportunities for improvement.

You’ll ideally bring strong experience across investment management systems and reporting , with exposure to platforms such as Aladdin, Charles River or similar investment technology.

The project has been prompted by challenges experienced during a previous Attribution Reporting initiative, making this an important prospect to bring strong BA capability,



investment domain knowledge and a structured approach to understanding the underlying ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within investments/investment management
- A solid understanding of the end-to-end investment management lifecycle
- Experience working with investment data, systems and reporting
- Understanding of Custodian data and data flows into investment and corporate environments
- Exposure to platforms such as Aladdin, Charles River or similar
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis skills
- Ability to map complex systems, processes and data flows
- Experience working on data, reporting or investment technology transformation projects
