The Role
We're looking for someone with a curious, solution-driven mindset and a genuine "can do" attitude to join us as an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst. You'll own day-to-day desktop, server, network and telephony support, help keep our IT environment current, and see end user issues through to resolution. You'll also help ensure our regional IT infrastructure runs in line with agreed policies and standards, escalating major issues quickly when needed.
What You'll Do
- Undertake daily operational checks, investigating and resolving issues as they arise
- Answer, evaluate and prioritise support requests via phone, email and in person
- Log and track incidents through to resolution in our service desk tool
- Support desktop, server, network and telephony infrastructure
- Participate in a shift-based roster, including hybrid and on-call support
- Escalate high-priority or complex incidents to senior IT team members
- Communicate proactively with the business during incidents or maintenance
- Liaise with external vendors, including cloud providers like Azure, AWS and Office 365
- Carry out standard operating procedures for patching, backups, monitoring and capacity management
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and our global knowledge base
- Log and manage changes through our change control process
- Promote cyber security awareness and suggest improvements
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity and Emergency Management planning
What You'll Need
- Experience using an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including Azure AD, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
- Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Exchange and Teams
- Experience administering VMware and exposure to SAN, vSAN and DAS storage
- Experience with AV technologies such as HP/Poly and Microsoft Teams rooms
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Cisco router and switch management
- Exposure to Azure and AWS, plus an understanding of IT security fundamentals
- Experience administering Zscaler and Check Point firewalling
