We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Technical Assistant to support our operations in Melbourne. The required skillset is broad, so a positive and adaptable work ethic is essential. Some in-house training will be necessary, in addition to your existing appreciation of technology and your willingness to learn.

This position is initially a Casual “Assistant” position for 2-3 days per week, but we would hope that the right person would develop into all aspects of the role to warrant a Full-Time Technician position at some future point in time. The initial hourly rate offered will be dependent upon your existing skills and experience.

Tasks would include

- Configuration and support of computer workstations and servers.
- Provide remote support for Microsoft workstations and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Installation and Configuration of networked devices.




- Assist other technicians with on-site work.

Skills and Experience:
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Australian Citizen or entitlement to work in Australia.
- Enthusiastic and honest with a can-do attitude.
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new technology concepts.
- Willingness to undertake a broad range of tasks that are required by the role.
- Experience with computers, Windows operating system environments and MS Office Applications.
- Experience with electronics and networking products highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience in the use of basic hand tools and common power tools highly regarded.
- Construction Induction Card or White Card highly regarded.
- Australian Drivers Licence (including entitlement and capability to drive a manual vehicle)
- Working with Children Card, or the ability to obtain one.
- Must be able to satisfy the requirements of a National Police Check.
