Kids Unlimited is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Coaches to join our team across Melbourne's Inner East and Eastern suburbs, including Hawthorn, Kew, Camberwell, Balwyn, Doncaster, Ringwood, Knox and Burwood.

For more than 25 years, Kids Unlimited has partnered with primary schools to deliver high-quality extracurricular programs that help children explore their interests, build confidence and develop lifelong skills.

About the Role As a Kids Unlimited Coach, you'll deliver engaging extracurricular classes to primary school students from Foundation to Year 6.

Programs run:

- During lunchtime
- After school

Using our fully prepared lesson plans and resources, you'll guide students through fun, hands-on activities while creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. We provide all training, curriculum and resources.

Your role is to bring the lessons to life and create an experience that students look forward to every week.

What Does a Typical Session Look Like?

Depending on your area of interest, you may:

�� Lead exciting science experiments

�� Help students build and program robots

�� Teach coding through games and challenges

- ️ Coach chess strategy and gameplay

�� Guide creative art and design projects
- Run skill-building soccer sessions

�� Facilitate drama and performance activities �� Teach dance routines and movement activities
- Explore hands-on electronics projects

No matter the subject, your goal is the same:



To help children learn, participate, have fun and grow in confidence.

What You'll Be Doing As a Coach, you will:

- Deliver engaging classes using Kids Unlimited lesson plans
- Prepare for your class by reading the lesson plan
- Set up and pack up program equipment
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour
- Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment
- Communicate professionally with school staff and the Kids Unlimited team
- Travel between schools within your local area as required
- Complete simple attendance and session reporting requirements

What You'll Need To be considered for this role, you'll need:

✅ Availability for at least three afternoons per week during school terms

✅ A current Employee Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

✅ Reliable transport and willingness to travel between schools

✅ Strong communication skills

✅ A genuine interest in working with children

✅ Knowledge, experience or enthusiasm in one or more of our program areas

Important Information

- Most coaching sessions run during lunchtime and after school.
- Coaches generally work across multiple schools within their local area.
- Casual positions are available.
- Additional sessions and programs become available throughout the year.
- Full training and ongoing support are provided.
