We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team at The Common Room Cafe Project in Stirling.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a friendly team and takes pride in keeping a busy kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

About the role

As our Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an important part in supporting the kitchen team with:

- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen areas, floors and workspaces clean and tidy
- Assisting with rubbish removal and general cleaning duties
- Helping with basic food preparation when required
- Keeping kitchen supplies organised and stocked
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Supporting the wider cafe team during busy service periods

About you We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment




- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised and takes pride in cleanliness
- Physically capable of being on your feet and completing kitchen duties
- Positive, friendly and willing to help wherever needed
- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is helpful, but training can be provided for the right person
