What you will do

· Help customers select landscaping products, including estimating quantities.

· Pick and prepare orders; load customer vehicles, trailers and trucks safely.

· Operate a forklift and tractor or loader to move bulk materials.

· Receive supplier deliveries, check stock and maintain accurate stock records.

· Drive a light truck for local deliveries when required.

· Keep the yard, equipment and displays clean, secure and well presented.

· Use point of sale and basic computer systems for sales and order processing.

Essential requirements

· Experience in a landscape supply yard or closely related garden or building supplies yard.

· Current forklift licence and safe, confident forklift operation.

· Practical knowledge of landscaping supplies and their uses.





· Experience operating a tractor, loader or similar yard machinery.

· Current Australian driver’s licence suitable for the light truck used in the role.

· Strong customer service, communication and basic numeracy skills.

· Ability to undertake manual handling, work outdoors and follow safe work procedures.

· Reliability, initiative and the ability to work well in a small team.

Highly regarded

· Experience with point of sale, stock control and coordinating deliveries.

· Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture or garden construction.
