Role Description:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Location: Sydney.

Salary: AUD 108571 - 119893 Annual Gross.

Key Skills Required





- Solid hands-on experience with Java 8+/11+/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Expertise in developing and consuming REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Coding practices
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and version control best practices
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, unit testing, and code quality tools
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Key Responsibilities

- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and microservices
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations
- Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Preferred Skills

- Spring Cloud, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience
