University of Technology is seeking an innovative and research-active academic to join our growing School of Health Sciences as a Lecturer, Clinical Physiology.

Based within the Department of Biomedical, Health and Exercise Sciences, this role offers an exciting prospect to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the Clinical Technologies major within the Bachelor of Health Sciences and related programs.

As a Lecturer, Clinical Physiology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, advancing curriculum innovation, supervising research students, and developing a strong research profile within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.

About The Role

Working closely with Course Directors, the Department Chair and colleagues across the School of Health Sciences, you will:

- Deliver engaging undergraduate teaching in clinical physiology, medical technologies and related disciplines.
- Contribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of curriculum within the Clinical Technologies major.
- Convene and coordinate units across the Bachelor of Health Sciences and associated programs.
- Supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students and contribute to a vibrant research culture.
- Develop and contribute to independent and collaborative research programs aligned with the strategic priorities of the Department and the School.
- Support work-integrated learning activities and engagement with external placement providers.
- Contribute to the administration and ongoing success of academic programs within the Department.

About You





We're looking for a motivated educator and researcher who combines disciplinary expertise with a passion for student success and innovation. You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in teaching and coordinating units in clinical physiology, medical technologies or related disciplines within higher education.
- Experience in curriculum design and development.
- A commitment to innovative, student-centred teaching and learning.
- Experience delivering online and blended learning using contemporary educational approaches.
- A track record of research profile.

- A doctoral qualification in an area of clinical physiology or related disciplines. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in clinical physiology, medical or clinical technologies.
- A tertiary teaching qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
