Are you a highly motivated and customer-orientated individual passionate to kick start your career in Library and Information Services? We are seeking those who have an interest in completing a traineeship to obtain a Certificate IV in Library and Information Services whilst gaining on the job experience at our Castle Hill Library.

What does this role look like:

- Deliver accurate information and resolve customer enquiries face to face and by phone
- Effectively and efficiently process a range of transactions and payments for both Council and Library
- Undertake day-to-day operations in any of Council’s library as rostered
- Other duties as specified by Supervisor/ Manager

What are we seeking in our new team members:

- A valid Working with Children Check
- Drivers License (C Class) – NSW
- HSC or equivalent
- Committed to complete a full-time 1-year traineeship whilst studying a Cert IV in Library and Information Services

- 1-year earn while you learn traineeship starting from $27,470.04 – $53,997.32 per annum plus Superannuation paid weekly, whilst working to obtain a Certificate IV in Library and Information Services (Note: As per the Local Government (State) Award 2026 wages are subjected to qualifications & age)
