This is a Permanent Full time position based in the Leinster/Goldfields area on a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth with immediate commencement. You will be responsible for the machine and vehicle that is being operated or driven.
Key responsibilities
- Operate plant and machinery including backhoe, bobcat/skid steer, IT loader, and excavator
- Operate 6 and 8 wheel tipper vehicles
- Perform general excavation and load out
- Clear tracks and drill sump pads
- Excavate drill sumps
- Perform trenching and back-filling
- Conduct earthworks for civils
- Perform levelling and load and transport of machinery
- Operate compaction equipment
- Maintain high level of commitment to safety
About you
- Current motor vehicle drivers' licence – Minimum 'C' Class Licence
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in remote locations as required
- Ability to work as a team player within a dynamic and continuously changing work environment
- Must be able to pass Medical, Drug and Alcohol testing and Police check
- Police Clearance accepted to Site Operating standards
- Agree to Company Alcohol and illegal substance testing, Fitness for Work policies and submit to random testing/screening at any time whilst employed
- Preference given to candidates with 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Desirable: 'HR'/'HC' Drivers Licence and additional plant operating tickets
