Experienced MC Linehaul Driver Required
Marmax Transport Pty Ltd is a growing transport company based in Redbank, Queensland. We are currently seeking an experienced MC Linehaul Driver based in Mackay to join our team for an immediate start. The position involves one daily run to Townsville to Mackay, Monday to Friday.
We offer late-model, well-maintained Kenworth prime movers with Road Ranger gearboxes.
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in B-Double express freight and overnight linehaul
- Road Ranger gearbox experience – essential
- Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence
- Experience with general freight, including tautliners and flat tops
- A strong commitment to safety and fatigue management
- A reliable and qualified attitude
- Flexibility with different runs, pickups, deliveries, loading and unloading
- Current resume and contactable references
- National Police Clearance through CV Check
- Current driver licence history printout
DG licence is not required.
Job Requirements
- Must be Mackay-based
- Complete required online inductions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and driving assessment
- Meet scheduled pickup and delivery timeframes
- Load and unload freight as required
