Your new role

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the College's buildings and grounds. Your general responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across buildings and facilities
- Completing preventative maintenance to ensure assets remain safe and operational
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying maintenance issues
- Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of buildings and grounds
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant procedures
- Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the site as required




- Assisting with event and function set-ups

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Officer, Handyperson or Facilities role or trade background
- Strong general building maintenance and repair skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Current driver's licence and valid Working With Children Check
