About the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing facility.

You will play a critical role in minimising downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting the ongoing reliability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, wire, and commission electrical systems and industrial equipment

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on plant machinery, automation systems, and PLC-controlled equipment

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

- Perform testing, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance on equipment





- Ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards

- Work closely with engineers and technical teams to meet project and operational requirements

- Carry out routine inspections to minimise downtime and prevent failures

- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, standards, and site procedures

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations with the use of our CMMS and MEX systems

About You:

- Trade-qualified and licensed Electrician (Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent)

- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or processing environments (preferred)

- Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Exposure to programming and industrial automation systems (highly regarded)

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
