About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and highly organised Management and Organisation Analyst to support an Australian business with business operations, process improvement, documentation, and organisational efficiency.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, identifying opportunities to improve processes, organising information, and turning ideas into practical systems and workflows.
You will work closely with management and internal stakeholders across a range of business improvement and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyse existing business processes, workflows, and operational practices.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop practical recommendations to improve productivity, consistency, and efficiency.
- Assist with implementing and monitoring improved processes and systems.
- Map and document workflows, procedures, and business processes.
Documentation & Organisational Support
- Prepare and maintain policies, procedures, process documents, and operational guides.
- Organise business information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, process maps, and business improvement materials.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal systems and operational frameworks.
Reporting & Business Insights
- Collect, organise, and analyse business and operational information.
- Prepare regular reports and summaries for management.
- Track KPIs, operational metrics, and project progress.
- Conduct research and gather information to support business decisions.
- Identify trends and provide practical insights based on available data.
Project & Operational Support
- Assist with business improvement, systems, and operational projects.
- Coordinate tasks and follow up on project deliverables and deadlines.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and initiatives.
- Assist with other operational and analytical tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business analysis, management analysis, process improvement, operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex information.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to document processes clearly and professionally.
- Strong Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions.
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools to improve business processes and productivity.
Bonus Points
- Experience with business process mapping or continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with project management or workflow management tools.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or other business management systems.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or dashboard creation.
- Experience working within professional services or a fast-growing business.
- Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, documentation, or workflow automation.
- Relevant degree in Business, Management, Commerce, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
