I'm working with a well-established Top 10 accounting firm in Melbourne that is looking to add a Manager to their Business Advisory team.

This is a really positive opportunity for someone who is already operating at Manager level, or a strong Senior looking to make that next step, particularly if you're currently in a smaller boutique or mid-tier firm and want access to a larger client base and broader advisory offering.

The role

You'll be working with a varied portfolio of privately owned businesses, from growing SMEs through to larger and more complex groups.

The role will have a good mix of traditional Business Advisory work alongside more commercial conversations with clients, including:

- Managing your own portfolio of clients and building strong relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders
- Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and tax compliance work
- Providing advice around business performance, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
- Working with clients on structuring, growth and other commercial decisions
- Identifying opportunities to improve clients' reporting and financial processes
- Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members
- Working closely with Partners and Directors across more complex client work
- Getting involved in broader advisory projects as opportunities arise

What they're looking for:

Ideally, you'll be CA or CPA qualified and have a strong background in Business Advisory,



Business Services or a similar accounting environment.

They're open to people coming from different types of firms. You might currently be a Manager in a mid-tier or boutique, or perhaps you're a strong Senior looking for the right opportunity to step up.

More importantly, you'll need to be comfortable dealing directly with clients, have strong technical accounting skills and enjoy the commercial side of the work.

They're looking for someone who wants to take ownership, build relationships and develop beyond just compliance.
