Lead operations, service growth and workforce performance

Quality Health Care is seeking an experienced Manager - Home & Community Care , to lead the operational, commercial, quality and service performance of our Home and Community Care division.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead Care Coordinators and Support Workers and take responsibility for client services, workforce planning, service quality, risk, compliance, stakeholder engagement and business growth.

This is a senior operational leadership position.

What you will be responsible for

- Lead day-to-day Home and Community Care operations and provide leadership to Care Coordinators and Support Worker teams.
- Monitor client activity, service hours, workforce utilisation and operational performance.
- Ensure services are responsive, reliable, person-centred and financially sustainable.
- Oversee client intake, onboarding, service commencement and ongoing service coordination.
- Monitor client satisfaction, service continuity, cancellations and unresolved service issues.
- Partner with HR to drive Support Worker recruitment, onboarding efficiency and workforce planning.
- Maintain sufficient workforce capacity to meet current demand and planned growth.
- Oversee quality, risk, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and corrective actions.
- Support accreditation, regulatory review and continuous improvement.
- Monitor revenue, labour costs, utilisation, travel costs and service margins.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, margin and service efficiency.
- Build referral, funding-body and customer relationships and support tenders, proposals and new service development.
- Prepare operational dashboards and performance reports and use data to identify trends,



emerging risks and opportunities.

About you

You will ideally bring:

- At least 5 years' experience as an Operations Manager, Care Manager, Service Manager, Community Care Manager or in a similar senior role.
- A strong background in Home Care, Community Services, Disability, Aged Care or a similar care setting.
- A record of managing day-to-day operations in a care or service organisation.
- A solid understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS environments.
- Demonstrated people leadership and service management experience.
- Commercial and financial awareness, including experience monitoring budgets, revenue, labour costs or service margins.
- Strong knowledge of quality, risk, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- A current driver licence.

A tertiary or postgraduate qualification in business, health, community services, management or a related discipline will be well regarded, as will experience in accreditation, audit preparation, service growth, performance reporting and developing new referral pathways.

Mandatory requirements

- Full NSW driver's license
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to).
- Valid National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months).
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain within three months of commencement.
- Capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, including driving and remaining in a seated position to perform tasks.
- Full rights to work in Australia.
