About the role

Reporting to the Assistant Director Litigation Management, the Manager Litigation Management is responsible for leading, engaging and shaping the strategic management of the Department's response to civil litigation and redress matters, while building productive relationships and collaborating closely with the State Solicitor's Office, law firms, the Insurance Commission of Western Australia and other government departments.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will:

- Build team capability, align resources with business priorities, and foster a culture of customer service excellence, accountability, high performance and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the provision of advice, executive and ministerial reporting, while supporting the development, implementation and review of strategies, policies, standards and procedures that promote effective governance, legal and operational compliance across litigation and case management activities.





Please note this role may involve reviewing records and materials that are sensitive and confronting in nature as part of the management of litigation and redress matters.
