About the Role:

Corporate Protection are seeking several dedicated security guards to join our maritime security team in Brisbane, as we support and secure some of our cities most valuable infrastructure.

This role is ideal for individuals who already hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or those willing to apply for one urgently before commencing work as an MSIC is a mandatory requirement for employment and rostering at our client sites.

? Roster: Casual hours available Monday to Sunday, during both days and nights.

? Sector: Maritime Security Services

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Maritime Security Guard and Asset Protection duties as required and instructed

- Carry out all vehicle and foot security patrols to a high standard, ensuring accurate post patrol reports are documented.

- Operate Security equipment including CCTV, access control systems, general office equipment, radios and cameras in a safe and reliable manner.

- Report and document safety incidents and security events in an accurate and timely manner.

- Participate in regular toolbox talks, safety and on the job training/professional development sessions.

- Provide on-the-job training as directed

- Assist in the maintenance of site assets and vehicles, to ensure compliance with site requirements.

- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of site-specific policies, procedures, and legislation.





- Maintain PPE, uniforms and work sites to a high standard

- Conduct administrative duties and complete documentation in a timely, accurate and concise manner

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: For any qualifications noted below, please outline the items which you currently hold in your cover letter and provide copies with your application, or immediately post interview.

- Certificate II in Security Operations

- Unrestricted QLD Driver’s Licence

- QLD Security Licence – Class 1 (Unarmed)

- Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) - Or willing to obtain

- Maritime Security Guard Training Course – To be completed after onboarding

- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

- Proof of Working Rights in Australia (Birth Certificate, Passport or Visa)
