Are you passionate about digital communications, branding and content creation?
We are looking for a capable and creative Marketing & Digital Communications Coordinator to deliver engaging marketing campaigns, promote our professional development programs and strengthen IPAA SA’s digital presence.
This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys developing ideas and turning them into polished, effective campaigns. You will also support the rollout and ongoing use of our recent CRM, helping us improve audience segmentation, communications, reporting and engagement.

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, Events, Marketing and Communications, you will coordinate marketing and digital communication activity across IPAA SA.
You will create and deliver content across our website, email marketing and social media channels, support the promotion of professional development programs and help ensure our communications are timely,
engaging and consistent with the IPAA SA brand.
This role combines campaign planning with hands-on delivery. You will be expected to manage your workload, coordinate deadlines and take ownership of projects while working collaboratively with the broader team.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing campaigns supporting IPAA SA’s professional development programs and membership initiatives.
- Create engaging content for email, social media, the website and other communication channels.
- Develop and schedule email campaigns, newsletters and promotional communications.
- Manage website content to ensure information is accurate, current and engaging.
- Create and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
- Develop program marketing materials, including digital graphics, flyers, invitations and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging, visual presentation and tone of voice across communications.
- Support SEO activity, digital advertising and campaign tracking.
- Monitor website, email and social media performance and provide practical recommendations.
- Assist with sponsorship communications and organisational brand positioning.
- Work collaboratively with the events and professional development teams to support audience growth and program participation.
CRM and digital systems support
- Support the rollout and ongoing use of IPAA SA’s CRM under the direction of the General Manager, Events, Marketing and Communications.
- Assist with maintaining accurate contact records, audience segments, mailing lists and communication preferences.
- Assist with testing user-facing forms, templates, workflows and automated communications.
- Help document CRM processes and support consistent use of the system across the organisation.
- Assist with CRM reporting and use audience data to improve campaign performance and engagement.
- Liaise with team members and external providers to communicate system issues and support their resolution.
What we’re looking for
- At least two years’ experience in marketing, digital communications, content creation or a related role.
- The ability to plan and deliver marketing campaigns confidently and with limited supervision.
- Strong copywriting, proofreading and communication skills.
- Experience managing websites, email marketing and social media platforms.
- Confidence using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
- Experience with SEO, digital advertising and social media analytics.
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- A creative and practical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute across a small team.
Experience working within government, the public sector, a professional association or a membership-based organisation is highly desirable.
Additional information
This is a part-time role working three to four days per week.
Some flexibility with working hours will be required to support key projects, deadlines and selected major events. Occasional early starts or out-of-hours work may be required.
