Pantera Engineering Construction is a WA-based multidisciplinary contractor delivering project and engineering management, construction and commissioning services across the resources and infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design, construction, installation and commissioning of mechanical plant and systems across our projects.

Key Duties

- Plan, design and provide engineering support for mechanical plant, equipment, piping and associated systems.
- Develop and review mechanical specifications, drawings, equipment requirements, layouts and technical documentation.
- Review mechanical designs for constructability, functionality, safety and compliance with project requirements.
- Determine appropriate materials, equipment, piping arrangements and mechanical system requirements.
- Provide technical engineering support during fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate and oversee the assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment.




- Conduct inspections and assess mechanical equipment and systems to ensure required performance and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Investigate mechanical equipment issues and provide engineering solutions to technical and operational problems.
- Develop and review inspection, testing, quality and maintenance requirements in accordance with engineering principles and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with project, construction, commissioning and other engineering disciplines to support safe and efficient project delivery.
- Review vendor and subcontractor technical documentation and ensure equipment and installations meet project specifications.
- Support mechanical system modifications and improvements to optimise plant reliability, performance and maintainability.

About You You will hold relevant qualifications and have relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the resources, mining, infrastructure or construction sectors.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
