Our client is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a large-scale iron ore operation based at Cape Preston in the Pilbara.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing FIFO work and join an established fixed-plant maintenance team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, consisting of one week of day shift, one week of night shift and one week off.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining, repairing and installing fixed-plant equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing preventative and corrective maintenance
- Supporting planned shutdowns and scheduled maintenance
- Working collaboratively with tradespeople and the wider maintenance team
- Following site procedures and maintaining a robust commitment to safety

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS





- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
- High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (WP)
- Working at Heights certificate
- Confined Space Entry certificate
- Construction White Card
- Valid C Class driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to remain clean shaven and wear a respirator mask, such as a 3M 7500 or equivalent

DESIRABLE

- High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging (RB) or higher
- High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG)
- First Aid / CPR
- Previous FIFO or mining experience
