Mechanical Fitters – Shutdown | Pinjarra

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for an upcoming 6–8 week shutdown at a mine site in the Pinjarra area who are ready to start work ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced shutdown personnel to secure several weeks of consistent work, carrying out mechanical maintenance on mining and mineral processing equipment.

About the Role

You will be working as part of the shutdown maintenance team, undertaking duties including:

- Mechanical maintenance, repairs and component change-outs

- Working on mining and mineral processing equipment

- Removal, installation and replacement of mechanical components

- Inspection and fault identification

- General shutdown maintenance activities

- Working safely and efficiently within site procedures and shutdown schedules

About You

To be considered, you will require:





- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification

- Ready to start ASAP

- Previous mining, fixed plant or shutdown experience

- Current ALCOA induction/site requirements

- Current Driver’s Licence

- Construction White Card

- Based in Perth area and surrounds

- Ability to pass relevant pre-employment and site requirements

- Robust commitment to safety

- Ability to commit to the 6–8 week shutdown period
