Kaefer Integrated Services Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled, proactive Electrician to join our Northern Roving Crew supporting shutdowns, down-day coverage and backfill across our permanent maintenance contracts in the Bowen Basin. PAY RATE DETAILS Base Rate (incl. Casual Loading): $56.16/hr

Market Allowance: $5.00/hr

Time & Half: $67.40/hr

Double Time: $89.86/hr

35 ordinary hours per week

Example Earnings

Work 2 consecutive 12-hour shifts across two sites and earn approximately $1,900 gross, including paid travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Component change-outs, installations and maintenance activities.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Complete pre-starts, JHAs, Take 5s and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.




- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.
- Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve maintenance objectives.
- Follow all site safety requirements and regulations.

ABOUT YOU

- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in mining, industrial or heavy industry.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical highly regarded (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to diagnose faults and troubleshoot effectively.
- Competent in reading mechanical drawings.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying site requirements and rosters.
