RRC Australia is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s maintenance team as a Process Fitter.

About the Role As a Process Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising complex mechanical systems to keep production running smoothly. This role requires problem-solving under pressure, technical know-how, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Australian recognised trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting
- Proven experience in fault finding on complex mechanical systems within food manufacturing
- Skilled in time-critical breakdown repairs to meet production targets
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of health & safety, food hygiene, and security standards in manufacturing
- Flexibility to work across day shift, night shift, and Saturdays when required
- Restricted electrical licence (disconnect/reconnect) – highly regarded
