Step into a role where marketing meets one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations. As Marketing Executive at InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef, you’ll help bring the magic of Hayman Island to life through creative campaigns, compelling content and impactful marketing initiatives that connect with guests both locally and around the world.

Working alongside the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager, you’ll play an important role in delivering the resort’s B2C and B2B marketing strategy, supporting campaigns that build brand awareness, drive revenue and inspire guests to experience the very best of the Great Barrier Reef.

From coordinating exciting campaigns and creating engaging marketing content to supporting on-property activations and bringing the InterContinental brand to life, no two days will look quite the same. This is an prospect for a creative, organised and commercially minded marketing professional to gain hands-on experience within a world-class luxury resort environment — while living and working in one of Australia’s most iconic destinations.

If you’re passionate about marketing, love bringing ideas to life and want your work to be seen against a backdrop of turquoise waters, white sand and the Great Barrier Reef, this could be your next adventure.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Support and deliver creative B2C, B2B, Food & Beverage, Events and resort marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, drive revenue and keep Hayman Island top of mind.





- Manage marketing touchpoints across the resort from websites, social media and email campaigns to in-room TV, digital signage, menus and promotional collateral ensuring everything is on-brand and engaging.

- Develop compelling marketing content and work closely with resort teams, IHG, agencies, media, influencers and external partners to bring exciting experiences and activations to life.

- Monitor campaign performance, guest and consumer insights, competitor activity and marketing results, using data and learnings to continually improve future campaigns and maximise ROI.

- Build strong relationships across the resort, champion the InterContinental brand and support teams with marketing opportunities that enhance the guest experience, showcase Hayman Island and turn great ideas into memorable moments.

Salary rate $70,000.00 + super

To be successful in this full-time role, you’ll have:

- Bachelor of Marketing, business or related field

- Two years experience working in marketing (hospitality industry advantageous)

- Demonstrated project management experience in organising, planning and executing projects from conception through to implementation

- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Proactive approach with a drive for results and a track record of achievement

- Resourceful with the ability to work autonomously while being a skillful team player
