We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer (over 5 years PAE) to join our Property and Commercial team, practicing exclusively in these areas of law.

The Property and Commercial team is currently led by Practice Director Jeff Garrett, supported by an experienced Department Manager, and a team of Senior Associates, Lawyers and Paralegals. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Property & Commercial team and service our large existing client base, as well as matters from our referrers. The role requires experience in handling a range of commercial matters in both QLD and NSW. The role will also require supervision and assistance in some conveyancing & off-the-plan matters from time to time.

The Role

The successful candidate will mainly handle business and commercial transactions in our Property & Commercial department. They are expected to give advice, act on transactions, take matters to finalisation across all types of property & commercial matters, and help promote the department to potential clients and referral sources.

The successful applicant will be understanding, a good communicator, and able to build rapport with our clients.

You will need good attention to detail, excellent file management, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a large team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide complex legal advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of commercial law (including retail and commercial leasing, business purchases and sales, franchising, buy/sell agreements,



shareholder & partnership agreements, loan agreements, licence agreements, business structuring and more).

- Assist in handling commercial property matters (mainly QLD & NSW), including high end residential and commercial conveyancing, off-the-plan matters, and inter-family transfers.

The Location

Attwood Marshall Lawyers has contemporary, spacious, well-positioned offices in Coolangatta, Kingscliff, Robina Town Centre, Southport, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

This full-time position is based at either our Coolangatta/Gold Coast or Brisbane offices. There may be instances where you will be required to work from our other offices.
