Our client is an established mobile allied health provider supporting people across Brisbane through home, school, aged care and community-based services.
Rather than running large centralised teams, clinicians work within defined geographic patches, with teams intentionally capped at around 10 clinicians. For an OT based in Brisbane’s inner south, this means building a caseload close to home, supported by a Team Manager, multidisciplinary colleagues and a separate clinical supervision structure.
Why this Role?
This role is particularly well suited to an OT who enjoys community practice but still wants genuine connection, clinical support and structure around them.
You will have access to:
- A multidisciplinary team of 10 clinicians in each Brisbane region (with 70+ clinicians across SEQ) and a dedicated Team Manager supporting each team
- Weekly clinical supervision for clinicians in the 1 to 3 year stage of their career
- Salaries from $85,000 - $120,000 + super!
- A company vehicle OR a $9,000 vehicle allowance - paid in line with your salary
- A separate clinical supervision pathway alongside day-to-day operational support
- A gradual caseload ramp-up rather than an expectation to arrive with a full diary
- Defined geographic catchments, with a focus on keeping clinicians close to their local area
- Bonus opportunities for exceeding billable targets
- Regular capacity reviews to help keep workload and referral demand balanced across teams
- External career development and regular internal training
- Opportunities to shape your caseload toward areas of clinical interest as you develop
- Longer-term pathways into clinical supervision, leadership and specialist areas
- Client Services support with referrals and initial bookings
- Increasing diary autonomy as you become established
The service works across disability, aged care and private clients, with Occupational Therapists working alongside Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists and other allied health disciplines. Growth is deliberately gradual, with new clinicians given time to settle into the team and build their caseload rather than being expected to fill a diary immediately.
About the Role:
This is a community-based Occupational Therapist position servicing Brisbane’s inner south and surrounding suburbs.
Your week may include:
- Supporting a lifespan caseload across NDIS, aged care and private clients
- Delivering assessment and therapy in homes, schools, facilities and community settings
- Working within a defined geographic catchment designed to reduce unnecessary travel
- Building your caseload gradually as you establish relationships within the region
- Working alongside OT, Physio, Speech Pathology and broader allied health colleagues
- Client Services support with referrals and initial bookings, reducing administration when you first commence
- Increasing autonomy over your diary as you become established
- Access to company vehicle or vehicle allowance options for the mobile component of the role
For clinicians in the 1 to 3 year experience range, weekly clinical supervision is provided,
with additional clinical support available throughout the week when needed.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Current driver’s licence and ability to work across community-based settings
- Current working rights in Australia
If you like the autonomy of community Occupational Therapy but do not want to feel like you are working on an island, this is worth a conversation.
The combination of smaller regional teams, defined travel areas, gradual caseload building and structured clinical supervision creates a mobile model with more support around the clinician. There is also genuine scope to shape your clinical direction over time rather than staying locked into the same caseload indefinitely.
