You'll support operational leaders in embedding a proactive safety culture, ensuring legislative compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business.Your work will directly contribute to safer workplaces, stronger operational performance, environmental sustainability outcomes and the wellbeing of employees, contractors, tenants and customers.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToDevelop, implement and continuously improve WHS systems, policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with WHS/OHS legislation, codes of practice and company standardsLead workplace risk assessments, hazard identification and mitigation strategiesConduct site inspections,
audits and compliance reviews across managed assetsCoordinate incident investigations, reporting and corrective actionsMaintain emergency management procedures, evacuation plans and crisis response protocolsSupport environmental sustainability initiatives and compliance obligationsMonitor environmental risks including waste management, hazardous substances and pollution controlDeliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiativesDrive a positive safety culture through engagement, communication and leadershipMaintain accurate HSE documentation, reporting and compliance registersLiaise with regulators, auditors, insurers and external stakeholders as requiredPartner with operational leaders to embed accountability and operational best practiceAbout YouA minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in a Health, Safety & Environment management roleStrong knowledge of WHS/OHS legislation and compliance requirementsExperience conducting investigations, audits and risk assessmentsExcellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to influence behavioural and cultural changeHigh attention to detail and organisational skillsExperience within property, facilities, asset management or related industries will be highly regardedWhy Urbis?
