Sante Recruitment is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join a growing regional anaesthesia service in South-West Victoria.
This is an excellent opportunity for an anaesthetist seeking a broad and varied clinical workload, with the flexibility to develop a subspecialty interest in pain medicine or perioperative anaesthesia.
You will join a collaborative specialist team providing high-quality anaesthetic care across a diverse surgical program while contributing to the development of sustainable specialist services in regional Victoria.

The role provides the opportunity to develop your professional interests while maintaining a broad general anaesthetic practice.
You will work closely with surgeons, physicians, nursing and allied health teams to support safe perioperative pathways, acute pain management and ongoing surgical service growth across the region.

About You
We are seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist who is committed to clinical excellence and interested in contributing to the continued development of regional specialist services.
You Will Have
FANZCA, or be nearing completion of Fellowship
Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
Broad clinical experience across general and emergency anaesthesia
An interest in developing a subspecialty practice in Pain Medicine or Perioperative AnaesthesiaStrong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
An interest in teaching, mentoring and service development
International Specialists
