We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Plumbing Salesperson to join our team at Williams Building Supplies Ballina.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a plumbing trade background or solid plumbing product knowledge who enjoys working with customers and wants to build a career in trade sales.
About the Role
As a Trade Plumbing Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting our trade customers with their plumbing and building supply requirements.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Serving trade and retail customers at the trade counter
Providing knowledgeable advice on plumbing products and solutions
Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
Following up enquiries and identifying sales opportunities
Building strong relationships with plumbers, builders and trade customers
Assisting with product selection and sourcing
Processing sales through our point of sale system
Maintaining product knowledge and keeping up to date with new products
Assisting with stock management and merchandising




Working as part of a friendly and professional branch team
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has plumbing trade experience or strong plumbing product knowledge
Has experience in trade sales, plumbing supplies, hardware or building supplies
Understands the needs of plumbers and other trade customers
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is confident dealing with customers and suppliers
Can work independently while contributing to a team
Is organised, reliable and has a robust attention to detail
Has a positive attitude and takes pride in providing great service
Is comfortable working in a fast paced trade environment
A plumbing trade qualification or previous experience working in the plumbing industry will be highly regarded.
