This role blends luxury customer service with creative social media support, making it ideal for someone who appreciates South Asian fashion, understands boutique retail standards, and enjoys creating engaging digital content.Key ObjectivesConsistently produce polished, on-brand content that showcases Karegar's collections beautifully.Grow brand awareness, engagement, and reach across Instagram and TikTok.Convert views and engagement into genuine customer inquiries, studio appointments, and online sales.Maintain an organized bank of high-quality content ready for publishing.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in weekly strategy calls every Monday to outline priorities, campaign themes, and promotions.Research and implement relevant trends, audio, and content concepts while maintaining Karegar's elevated brand identity.Prepare content calendars and write engaging, brand-aligned captions in advance.Capture high-quality short-form video (Reels/TikToks) and lifestyle imagery featuring garments, detail close-ups, behind-the-scenes, and styling concepts.3.




Video Editing & Platform Management (CapCut)Edit raw video footage using CapCut (and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot) into polished, high-converting Reels and TikToks- including seamless transitions, trending audio syncing, text overlays, and captions.Maintain a posting schedule of:Regular / Daily Instagram StoriesMaintain an organized digital archive/content bank of ready-to-post assets.4.
Analytics & Ongoing CommunicationMonitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, inquiries, conversions) and use data insights to optimize future content.Maintain regular communication with the founder/management via WhatsApp and voice notesAbout YouBased near Port Melbourne with reliable availabilityProfessional, well-presented, and aligned with a luxury retail environmentStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge of South Asian fashion, textiles, or languages (Hindi, Sinhala, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, etc.) is highly regardedComfortable on camera and confident creating engaging social media contentExperienced with Instagram, TikTok, and CapCutHighly organised with robust attention to detailRetail or sales experience preferredSeeking a long-term part-time opportunityUniversity students are welcome to apply
