What we are looking for
We are looking for a HR all-rounder and leader to join our existing HR team in this brand new role.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced HR leader to manage our HR and Recruitment teams and provide specialised HR advice.
This role covers all aspects of HR including recruitment, performance management, compliance, award interpretation and workforce planning.
Reporting directly to the General Manager - People Corporate and Governance, this is a fast-paced role in a challenging and ever-changing industry so we are looking for someone who is hard working, efficient and adaptable.
This role is suitable for candidates with 3+ years experience and will require a high level of problem solving, initiative and the ability to provide expert advice.
You must possess the following skills/attributes:
Previous experience in leading a HR team
Experience providing advice of performance management and disciplinary processes
Process orientated with a high level of attention to detail
Positive attitude with the ability to influence and connect with stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Experience interpreting awards (knowledge of the SCHADS award will be highly regarded)
Qualification in HR

About the Role
Duties included but not limited to will be:
Working closely with recruitment team to complete end to end recruitment and training
Liaise with our external HR advisor to support managers through disciplinary processes
Creation of HR templates, PDs, document control, contracts and other HR documentation
HR projects and policy development
Reporting of HR Metrics
Performance management, reviews and changes in allowances/pay items
Assist with fortnightly payroll as required
Assist in the interpretation and application of awards and Fair Work standards across the business
Ad-hoc duties as required
