Make a real difference in the lives of patients with kidney disease as part of a specialised and supportive Renal Pharmacy team. Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services, optimise medication management, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Contribute to service innovation, quality improvement and the delivery of safe, effective renal care across Far North Queensland while supporting best-practice medication use and helping shape the future of renal pharmacy services.

About us:
The Health Service is the primary provider of health services to residents of the Cairns, Tablelands and Cassowary Coast regions with a population of over 250,000 people, as well as providing specialist services to the Torres Strait and Cape York region. Cairns Hospital is the primary referral hospital for Far North Queensland.

About your chance:
In this position you will......
Provide independent high level clinical pharmacy services (face to face, phone or telehealth)
of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to CHHHS including all Renal services (Kidney Supportive Care, Transplant, Dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease).
Provide high level communication skills to align a team and influence the culture.
Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers, as required to ensure continuum of care.
Develop, implement, monitor and review departmental and organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures, programs, clinical practice and clinical governance in the CHHHS Pharmacy and Renal Department.
