To be considered, you will need to be able to provide evidence of:
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, catering or aged care is desirable
Experience working in Australia
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Food Safety Certificate, where required




Valid Police Check
100 Points of ID
Valid Work Rights
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
COVID-19 and Flu vaccination, where required by the facility

What will you be doing? Food Service Assistant
Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments to residents
Setting up dining areas and ensuring they are clean and welcoming
Delivering meals and beverages to residents as required
Assisting residents with meal and beverage service
Following individual dietary requirements and meal preferences
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen and dining areas
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Following infection control and workplace health and safety procedures
Working collaboratively with kitchen, care and facility staff
Providing friendly and respectful service to residents
