Aboriginal Health Worker / Aboriginal Health PractitionerFull-time, Monday to Friday – no weekends or shift workGenerous salary packaging to increase your take-home payChristmas shutdown periodWork within a culturally safe Aboriginal Community Controlled Health OrganisationAboriginal Health Workers and Health Practitioners at different career stages encouraged to applyOngoing mentoring, professional development and trainingIdentified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicantsBased at Carbal's Toowoomba ClinicAbout the RoleCarbal is seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker or Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our Toowoomba Clinic team.You'll play an important role in delivering culturally safe, person‐centred primary health care and helping clients access services, engage with their care and achieve better health outcomes.Working alongside GPs, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and other support services, you'll contribute to health assessments, chronic disease management, care planning, health promotion, clinical support and community engagement.You'll also help clients navigate the health system, build trusted relationships and ensure culture and community remain central to the care we provide.Recently qualified or nearing completion of your qualification?
