Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our aged care team at our Byron Bay site on a part-time basis. This role involves working in a supportive setting to help deliver quality meal services for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
n
Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
n
Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
n
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas,



including dishwashing duties
n
Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
n
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
n
Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
n
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly regarded
n
Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirable
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
n
