Job Description
Marketing Coordinator - Consumer and Trade Marketing
n
Are you a creative, organised and hands‐on marketer who loves seeing ideas come to life? We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Mustela Australia marketing team and play a key role across both Consumer and Trade Marketing.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer who wants broad exposure across the full marketing mix — from consumer campaigns, events and partnerships to retail activations, POS, sales tools and creative production.
n
You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with Sales, agencies, suppliers, retailers and other partners to bring the Mustela brand to life across Australia.
n
About the role
n
This is a varied and hands‐on role where no two days are quite the same.
n
You'll support the development and execution of the consumer marketing plan while also taking ownership of key trade marketing activities across our retail and pharmacy partners.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Supporting the development and execution of consumer marketing campaigns and the promotional calendar.
n
Helping bring new product launches and promotions to life through compelling marketing tools and assets.
n
Supporting consumer research, market intelligence and competitor analysis.
n
Managing and developing third‐party partnerships and supporting parent and healthcare professional advocacy initiatives.
n
Creating and managing in‐store POS, merchandising materials and retail collateral.
n
Developing deal sheets, new product submissions, catalogue artwork and other sales tools for pharmacy partners.
n
Managing POS, samples and gift inventory in collaboration with the Warehouse.
n
Working closely with Sales to ensure campaigns and POS are executed in‐store and consistently reflect Mustela brand guidelines.
n
Planning and coordinating Mustela's presence at Expos, Baby Fairs, Trade Shows and professional congresses — from logistics through to on‐site execution.
n
Creating presentations,
training tools and marketing materials for our sales team and customers.
n
Designing POS, kits and campaign artwork using Canva and/or AdobeCreative Suite.
n
Managing print production from briefing and artwork specifications through to proofing and final delivery.
n
Coordinating with external designers, agencies, printers and suppliers.
n
Supporting the brand's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
n
Tracking performance and ROI across offline consumer activations.
n
About you
n
You're a marketer who enjoys being both strategic and hands‐on. You can move comfortably from developing a marketing idea to coordinating suppliers, creating a presentation, checking artwork or helping deliver an event.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
A degree in Marketing or Business.
n
Around 3 years' marketing experience across brand, category, agency, digital or a similar environment.
n
Experience in event coordination, expos or trade shows.
n
Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG or consumer care marketing.
n
Experience in trade marketing.
n
Robust project management, organisational and communication skills.
n
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
n
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign
n
An understanding of print production, including artwork specifications, proofing and working with printers.
n
A creative eye and the ability to turn ideas into engaging, on‐brand materials.
n
The confidence to work with a broad range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once.
n
Most importantly, you're self‐motivated, adaptable and proactive,
with a genuine can‐do attitude. You're comfortable working in a small team, enjoy taking initiative and are excited by the opportunity to develop across both consumer and trade marketing.
n
Why this role?
n
This is a great opportunity to build a broad marketing skill set within a well‐established consumer brand.
n
You'll gain hands‐on experience across campaigns, retail, events, partnerships, creative production and customer engagement, while working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider commercial team.
n
