Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 25 production employees across six key production lines at a leading, highly regulated manufacturing and packing facility in Warriewood.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about safety, quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
As Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of shift operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in accordance with GMP and quality requirements. You will play a key role in developing your team, driving performance and partnering with internal support functions to deliver strong operational outcomes.

About the Role
Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day production operations across six production lines, while managing and developing a team of around 25 employees.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, coach and develop the production team to deliver safety,



quality and production objectives.
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Champion a quality-first mindset, ensuring production meets GMP and regulatory standards.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, hazards, quality deviations and production issues, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Coordinate production activities, changeovers, GMP cleaning and line operations in accordance with SOPs and target rates.
- Manage resources effectively to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
- Monitor and drive resolution of production downtime in partnership with Maintenance and other support functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the packing operation, using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Support production planning and contribute to the weekly production schedule.
- Manage overtime and casual labour expenditure within approved budgets.
- Establish clear team and individual KPIs and provide regular performance feedback.
- Coordinate training, capability development and succession planning across the team.
- Conduct regular performance and development conversations with team members.
- Manage performance and behavioural issues in line with company processes.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering and other support functions.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, plant, equipment and operational readiness.
- Ensure timely escalation of significant safety, quality and production issues.
- Support the review and continuous improvement of SOPs, processes and procedures.

About You
You will be an experienced production or manufacturing leader who enjoys being visible on the floor, developing people and driving operational performance.




You will ideally bring:

- Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing, production or packing environment.
- Experience working within a highly regulated setting, ideally with exposure to GMP requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing sizeable production teams.
- A strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements within manufacturing.
- Experience with continuous improvement and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- A track record of delivering production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high-volume operational environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in manufacturing, operations, engineering, science or a related discipline are desirable.
