About this role

The Director, Capital and Treasury Reporting provides strategic leadership for NSW Health's Treasury reporting and capital governance functions. You will oversee critical reporting to NSW Treasury, provide authoritative advice on major investment and funding decisions, and ensure financial information supports effective policy, planning and delivery of government priorities.

Leading a team of highly skilled professionals, you will work closely with executives across the health system, central agencies and Ministerial stakeholders to deliver trusted insights, strengthen accountability and support evidence-based decision-making.

What you'll be doing

- Provide strategic leadership for statewide Treasury reporting,



ensuring government has access to accurate, timely and reliable information to support decision-making.
- Lead oversight of NSW Health's capital investment reporting and performance, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure and health priorities across the state.
- Partner with senior executives, health entities, central agencies and Ministerial offices to address complex financial and strategic issues.
- Influence policy, governance and reporting frameworks that strengthen accountability, transparency and stewardship of public resources.
- Build capability and lead a high-performing team that delivers excellence in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

About you

We are seeking an influential and strategic leader who can demonstrate:

- Experience leading complex financial, reporting, governance or investment functions within government or another large, highly regulated environment.
- A strong commitment to public sector stewardship, accountability and delivering outcomes that create value for the community.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across executive, Ministerial and central agency environments.
- The ability to navigate complexity, provide sound judgement and deliver strategic advice on sensitive and high-profile issues.
- Experience leading teams through change, driving improvement and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and excellence.
- Strong financial governance, Treasury reporting and capital program expertise supported by a deep understanding of public sector accountability frameworks.
