If commercial fit-out is where you have built your experience, this Brisbane opportunity puts that knowledge at the centre of the role. We’re looking for a Site Manager or Junior Site Manager with experience delivering projects valued from $500,000 to $5 million, who enjoys turning a programme and a set of drawings into a well-run site.

The business

You’ll be joining a construction and project management business whose work includes commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and broader construction projects. Its client base spans government, private businesses and education, giving the business experience across different building environments and client requirements.

The company places emphasis on working closely with its subcontractors and maintaining long-term client and trade relationships. For this appointment, the focus is Brisbane commercial fit-out: bringing the trades, programme and finish together through explicit day-to-day site coordination.

Your role

You’ll work with the project team to organise site activity, keep work progressing and deal with the practical issues that arise during delivery. The role covers:

- Coordinating subcontractors and the sequence of fit-out works against the construction programme.
- Monitoring workmanship and progress, and raising issues that could affect delivery.
- Working through drawings, specifications and site queries with the project team.
- Maintaining site records, communicating constraints and coordinating safety requirements.
- Following through on defects and handover activities.

What makes this worth a conversation

The brief allows for either an experienced Site Manager or a Junior Site Manager with relevant fit-out experience. That creates room to consider your actual project exposure and responsibilities, rather than relying on title alone. If you enjoy the detail of fit-out delivery and want a role centred on practical site coordination, this is an opportunity to explore.

About you

You’ll bring commercial fit-out experience on projects in the $500,000–$5 million range, clear communication with trades and project teams, and close attention to quality and site safety. Tell us what you have delivered and the parts of the job you personally owned.
