ABOUT THE ROLE

Menzies is seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaners to join our team delivering ongoing cleaning services across the Tahmoor Colliery site.

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, protected and working environment for staff by providing high quality cleaning services in accordance with client standards, safety requirements and contractual performance expectations. Full training, equipment and ongoing support will be provided.

We have a variety of casual, part-time and full-time opportunities available, with most positions operating Monday to Friday, however weekend shifts may also be available.

Monday - Friday

- 5.30am - 1.30pm
- 10.30pm - 5.30am
- 5.30pm - 12.30am
- 5.00pm - 9.00am
- 5.30am – 1.30pm

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

- Detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and eating areas.
- Cleaning offices and Administration areas.
- Collection, segregation and disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and other detailed cleaning.
- Restocking consumables and maintaining presentation standards
- Responding to scheduled and ad hoc client requests
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
- Delivering services in accordance with agreed quality and performance standards

About You

Previous cleaning experience in commercial and industrial environments is desirable but not essential.

- Be willing to follow safety procedures and quality standards

Employment Requirements

As a condition of employment:

- All applicants must successfully complete a Police Check.
- All applicants must be willing to potentially undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
- Have a current drivers' licence and own transport.
- Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide evidence of their right to work in Australia, including any applicable working hour restrictions.
