Take your safety career to the next level with a leading Australian regional manufacturer in heavy equipment and engineering.
Based in Inverell, NSW, with occasional travel across regional facilities, this hands‐on role partners closely with operational teams to drive a proactive safety culture from the workshop floor up.
You will provide practical guidance, champion incident prevention, and coordinate end-to-end injury management programs to ensure everyone returns home safely every day.
Key responsibilities
Conduct workshop safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Coordinate workers' compensation claims, suitable duties, and return-to-work plans
Assist in reviewing SOPs, SWMS, and safety compliance documentation
Deliver engaging toolbox talks, inductions, and targeted safety coaching




Monitor safety performance metrics to drive continuous operational improvements
What you will bring
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent qualification
Proven WHS experience within manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industrial environments
Practical experience in return-to-work coordination and claims management
Working knowledge of current NSW WHS legislation and compliance standards
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a valid, unrestricted driver's licence
A competitive salary package of $90,000 to $115,000 (dependent on experience) is on offer for the successful candidate, along with the chance to make a tangible impact within a supportive, growth-focused business.
